Cancer-causing foods that you should stop eating right now

 6. Alcohol

We are all aware that alcohol is harmful to our health. After cigarettes, alcohol intake is the second largest cause of cancer. While moderate or low alcohol intake can be beneficial and lessen the risk of heart disease, excessive drinking has been linked to heart failure, strokes, and sudden death.

The most common cause of cancer in the oesophagus, liver, mouth, intestines, and breast is excessive alcohol drinking. A large amount of research suggests that alcohol intake is linked to an elevated risk of some types of cancer.

Alcohol has been categorised as a Group 1 carcinogen by the World Health Organisation (WHO), which indicates that there is adequate evidence to show that alcohol intake causes cancer.
