7. Red meat

Red meat is a form of meat that is red when it is raw and turns brown when cooked. It has a higher fat and cholesterol content than other varieties of meat, such as chicken or fish.
If you enjoy a good steak, pay attention! People who consume meat on a daily basis, such as steak and burgers, are more likely to get lethal cancers. For men, the risk rises to 22% and for women, it rises to 20%. It has a lot of saturated fat and cholesterol, which can put you at risk for certain health problems if you eat too much of it.
Some studies have suggested that eating a lot of red meat on a daily basis may increase your risk of heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and certain types of cancer, including colon cancer. So, enjoy your steak once in a while, but no more than once a week. If you must eat red meat, choose grass-fed, organic beef.
